Muta deserved to be in the winners enclosure again after several solid efforts recently, shame it had to the of Magical Effect who ran a blinder to finish 2nd from a bad draw.

MUTANAASEQ put in a strong finish for a second win of the season, relishing the step back up to 7f at a track he runs well. He’s won off higher marks in the past, so ought to remain competitive.

Magical Effect ran a big race considering he didn’t get off to a good start from his wide draw, having to use up plenty of gas in the early stages to lead. He stayed on again to make it a one-two for the yard and is on a mark he may be able to win off.”
