Foz followed his Ayr win with a short margined success at Ripon in the apprentice race under Benoit De La Sayette.  It was close and we’d have taken a dead heat with our friends, Team Midgely, before the result was announced!

“It was tight enough and I’d have taken a dead-heat, I wasn’t sure. FORESEEABLE FUTURE has been a grand horse. We always thought he’d stay further and in hindsight we’ve been running him over the wrong trip. We’ve been trying to force him to settle and he’s turned out to be a sprinter. It’s a Sunday and there are plenty of options to run him without a penalty but he didn’t win very far so in theory he shouldn’t be going up much.”
