At last we found the key to City Wanderer!  Tom Eaves suggested we try him over further when he finished third over 1.2f on his previous start.  They made every post a winning post and held off all challengers!

“CITY WANDERER settled much better than at Ayr recently, making all of the running to snap a lengthy losing sequence. This was his first attempt beyond 1m2f and given the outcome, it’s probable that he’ll stick to a similar trip next time. However, it’s worth highlighting that he was the beneficiary of an uncontested lead at a speed-favouring track.”
