“BADRI who ran well in defeat against So Grateful (winner again since) at Southwell last time, won with ease off the same mark. He travelled strongly off the pace and made his ground up quickly when eventually asked to go and win his race, only having to be nudged out in the closing stages. He’ll go up a fair chunk for this but he’s in fine form, and it was only his second visit here and the track often favours his style of racing, so there could be more to come.”
