Rasselas sprung an 18-1 shock at Newcastle under Tom Eaves.  Having run well first time out for us at Newcastle he was then disappointing at Hamilton but back to Newcastle Tom settled him out the back and he was well on top at the finish.

Generally suited by stiff, right-handed tracks, he will not be badly treated, even after a rise in the weights.”
