Ellaal has been in great form this year and again showed his liking for Musselburgh when the runaway winner of the 1.1f handicap under Jimmy.  Ellaal cost us £11000 in October 2013 and has now won us 8 races!  He’s the most straightforward horse and one of the trainers favourite rides on the gallops!

“An uncompetitive handicap run at a moderate gallop and though they finished well strung out the form is ordinary.  ELLAAL goes well here and was back on the same mark as when winning here in May. He had finished runner-up here over 7f two runs ago but this longer trip suits him better and he took this in good style. His easy win probably came about because none of his rivals ran anywhere near to their best so it wouldn’t be form to go overboard about.”
