Lucy races in the Clock Tower Race – 6th July 2018
Lucy had an amazing day at Doncaster, riding in the the Racing Welfare Charity race and finishing fourth on Chaplin Bay, owned by Grandma (Marion Chapman) and Bridget Houlston. Thanks to so many generous donations from owners, friends and families, Lucy was the jocky who raised the most money for this very worthwhile charity ….. over £1500. She was rewarded for her hard work with a computer tablet after the race, an amazing prize.
Thank you to everybody who donated so very generously – and especially to Chaplin’s owners for allowing him to run in the race. No prize money or expenses are given, so the horse is the biggest donation of all! Well done Lucy, a great effort and we hope other members of the Mowbray team will compete in the race in future years!
