Tanawar follwed up his good run in that Charity Race for Catriona to win at Thirsk for Jimmy.  Drawn 11 of 11 and dropped in at the back on the rail, Tan made up ground on the inside and challanged late on to get up on the line.

One of the paddock picks beforehand narrowly landed a thrilling finale.  TANAWAR looked well and has a decent record at this time of year. He was ridden with confidence, but had to show tenacity to come between horses in the final furlong, edging a near four-way go at the line.”
