It was great to see Oreo get his head in front for the first time when winning at Ponte under Jimmy.  Runner up on his previous two starts for us and also a runner up three times last year for his old connections – it will have done his confidence the world of good and hopefully he can improve from this.

The actual race distance was 5f8yds. ORIENTAL SPLENDOUR had been threatening to come good and it finally all clicked here, doing it in a manner which suggests he won’t have to wait long for his second success, quickening well once clear in a race where nothing else threatened to get competitive from off the pace.”
