July sales purchase Mutamaded was bought to replace Dubai Dynamo so it was fitting he won at Ripon, Dubai’s favourite course!  He’d shown good form as a youngster in France before suffering an injury and came good at the second time of asking in a decent enough handicap at Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse.

“A useful handicap even if it went to the complete outsider.  MUTAMADED, a winner for Jean-Claude Rouget when trained in France in 2015, had failed to shine in two previous starts in Britain, including on his stable debut last time, but he was entitled to have come on for that and showed much improved form to spring quite the surprise. He’s not had many chances and remains capable of further progress.”
