It was great to see Midlight bounce back to form after being disappointing on his first two runs for us.  Ridden much more prominently, he bowled along with the early leader, before taking up the running at about half way and holding on well.  

“They went hard up front in this weak handicap.  MIDLIGHT pinged out from the inside stall and, despite doing plenty up front, held on to finally shed his maiden tag. It was a huge improvement on his two previous outings this term for his current yard and a first win at the 16th attempt. The 5yo did kick off in handicaps on a mark of 75 two seasons ago, though.”
