Magical Effect has tested our patience at times but he’s a horse with plenty of ability and won first time out under Jimmy at Ripon.  He has been placed in all 6 starts for us and his form reads 221321!

Only five went towards the far side of the track, but they ended up all over the place late on.  MAGICAL EFFECT, reported to be not entirely straightforward and highly strung, is lightly raced for his age and made a perfect start to the season after travelling nicely. One would imagine he’d be competitive off higher marks.”
