WINNER! Kingstreet Lady wins at Catterick – 24th May 2018

A fab win for KSL at Catterick in the 5f apprentice race under Jane Elliot.   Grahame Amey’s homebred has been very consistant and deserved to get her head in front again.

“Race distance as advertised. Contrary to most of the rest of the card, including two 5f races, the action took place down the centre as opposed to the far rail. The second and fourth broke clear and probably went on sooner than ideal in a fairly typical low-grade apprentice handicap. KINGSTREET LADY had a little bit of circumstance in her favour with how hard the runner-up went, but she had been in form and was comfortably on top by the line, despite edging right as she broke out of the pack. Two of her three wins have now come here and at Southwell, notoriously fast 5f tracks both, but she’s no borderline short-runner (stays 6f).”
