WINNER! Faintly wins at Newcastle – 25th October 2016

Faintly made it an across the double for the yard when winning at Newcastle and gave Jimmy his third winner of the day having also been successful on a Ken Slack horse at Catterick.

It was great to see Faintly get his head in front having gone a close 2nd at Beverley during the summer.

Faintly“A modest handicap, but the pace was good, and that played into the hands of the previously disappointing winner.  FAINTLY, racing off marks in the mid-70s as recently as June, but now down to 59, was helped by the biggish field and testing pace. He isn’t an easy ride but is useful at this level when everything clicks for him.”

Racing Post, 2016

“Faintly wears one-cup blinkers to keep him straight because he hangs a bit. He needs to be covered up and come late as you can in the middle of other horses.”

Jimmy Sullivan, 2016
