Whilst we’ve been enjoying a lovely summer the ground has been against plenty of horses, Cosmic included, who appreciated the return to some ease under foot.  Kept handy under last year champion gentleman amatuer rider, Pat Millman, Cosmic was off the bridle over 2f out but kept finding to win by half a length.

“The race unfolded more towards the centre to near-side of the track, rather than the inside rail. COSMIC CHATTER, who opened 12-1 the previous day, was really well treated on his winning form and steadily got on top in the latter stages. He had soft-ground form.”
