TWO WINNERS! An across the card double – 20th Sept 2014

Tanawar Summer2014

Tanawar made a winning start for his new owners in the second division of the 7f handicap at Catterick.

“The second division of a modest 7f handicap and the winning time was marginally quicker. TANAWAR was ridden with more restraint on this occasion than usual in about third or fourth, and made an eyecatching move turning in to be on the lead slightly isolated up the centre of the track from about 1f out. He previously won over 1m in June, and duly saw this slightly shorter trip out strongly to prevail.”

Dream SikaDream Sika followed up several good placed efforts to win at Wolverhampton under Dale Swift – a good effort from his outside draw.

” Overcast and muggy. The excellent Tapeta surface was harrowed on Tuesday to a depth of between three and four inches, before being rolled back to racing speed. Plenty out of form for a low-grade handicap and the front two, who had at least been relatively consistent of late, were prominent from the start. DREAM SIKA produced a couple of consistent place efforts on his last two turf starts before well held over C&D last time, but got off the mark at the 14th attempt, making most of the running and getting extra credit, having broken from a wide stall berth.”
