Hab Reeh stepped up on his all weather form earlier in the month to win under Jimmy.  It was his first victory in the colours of Grange Park Racing.

“A competitive low-grade sprint handicap where the field split into two groups with the majority opting to race up the centre but only a handful managed to get involved. HAB REEH raced prominently in the centre group and after hitting the front 2f out was soon kicked clear and never looked like getting caught. He was on a handy mark and had to step up on what he had shown on the AW of late with concerns also regarding the ground. However, despite the fact he won this well, he doesn’t possess the most convincing profile and it will be of interest to see if he can repeat the effort.”

Vict NewcastleApril2014Vic followed up his Redcar win when coming from well behind to win by a length also under Jimmy.

“An ordinary handicap where the complexion of the race was changed when the pace was noticeably upped with over 3f to go and effectively knocking all but the three principals out of the race. VICTOIRE DE LYPHAR was attempting to follow up a recent Redcar success under a 6lb penalty. He duly did but, without knocking him, basically the race fell into his lap. He clearly has talent when putting his best foot forward and has appreciated the fact he can race at this level again with his declining mark, but life will become tougher when having to step back up.”
