Auction Flies Home to Amazing Finish – 24 March 2016

The Auction ended last night in a flurry of last minute bids – the final total a massive big £8755!

Every single item except the nomination for Sleeping Indian was sold. (We still have some interest in thissleeping indian
item – so fingers crossed we may add another £950. Anybody interested, please contact Ruth asap).

The auction has been fun and exciting – and people have been generous in bids and donations.
We hope that everybody who have made purchases are pleased with their items, as there have been some real bargains amongst the products on offer.

Grandad’s (David Chapman’s) Timeform Books made a fantastic £510. He would have been so proud!

A day at Cheltenham and course walk with Ruby Walsh made £410, and the lucky winner is in for a fabulous day out in November.

We also welcome a new owner who has taken a 5% share in Intensified, former Jockey Club Inspector, Yvonne (Stapleton) Mee, and we look forward to welcoming her to the yard. She was also the lucky highest bidder for the fishing trip, which was very popular, making £260.

Sir A P McCoy was more than generous, donating several items for the auction, and we were amazed that his winning Grand National Race card, signed by him went for £80! It was a one off chance to own that item.

However, the item which received the most bids was the day at York Races on Macmillan Race Day, receiving 42 bids and making £260!
Is something special happening that day??

Items are being posted out over the weekend so should arrive just after Easter.

Thank you everybody!
