A nasty fall on the gallop for Ryan – 14th October 2014

Helicopter2

This morning Ryan took a very nasty fall on the gallop which resulted in the air ambulance taking him to Leeds General Infirmary.  What most times would be a simple fall from a jinking horse was really nasty and Ryan damaged his liver and had internal bleeding. Luckily Ryan is young and fit so doesn’t need an operation and is expected to be released from hospital in about a fortnight.

Skydive

Mel has bravely volunteered to do a tandem skydive so please visit her Just Giving page by clicking here and sponsor her generously if you can to help raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.  The YAA relies solely on the generosity of the public to help save lives across the region. They need to raise £9990 per day to keep this life saving service going.   £10 keeps a YAA flying for two minutes so get your hands in your pockets and donate generously as you don’t know when you might need their help!
