After a string of 2nd’s over the last ten days, including Yorkie, it was great to get into the winners enclosure again!

Yorkie was a close second at Thirsk last week and was due to go up 2lb’s so we ran “well in” at the weights, a decision which paid off, when the gaps finally came, Jimmy and Yorkie burst through to win by half a length.

A first winner for The Ruth Carr Racing Club launched this year – hopefully the first of many!
