WINNER! Klynch wins at Southwell. – 1st April 2014
Klynch has been a grand servant to the yard over the years and took advantage of a low handicap to win from behind at Southwell.
“An ordinary sprint handicap, but they didn’t hang about with the second and third horses going hard at it from the start. KLYNCH, down to a 0-75 for the first time in nearly three years, was returning from 183 days off, but he’s gone well fresh in the past and got a lovely tow from the two pacesetters. Sticking to the centre of the track while his two rivals hung towards the nearside, he gradually wore them down and is worth keeping on side as he has a decent record in following up a win in recent years. QUOTES: Ruth Carr, trainer of Klynch: He often runs well here first time, he was unlucky not to win last season on his first run back. Also, he was well handicapped.”
