WINNER! Klynch hacks up – 11th August 2014
Klynch won his 14th race on his 104th start under Jimmy at Ayr on his preferred soft ground. An inspired ride from Jimmy who tracked the only other runner who went up the stands side and never looked like getting beaten.
“A run-of-the-mill sprint but it produced a very easy winner, himself one of just two runners to race up against the stands’ rail. KLYNCH is thoroughly exposed but he was 1lb lower than when winning at Southwell in April and never came of the bridle in landing this as he pleased. Time will tell as to whether he was racing on better ground yet we know enough about him to be suspicious that he’s suddenly found a huge chunk of improvement. He will look well treated if turned out quickly but this might not prove the most reliable piece of form.”
