Eventually, after finishing 2nd on her last four starts, Hostelry broke her duck!  We turned to 5lb claimer, Christian Howarth, with regular partner Joanna being required at another meeting and our chestnut mare saw out the 1.1f trip on rain softened ground well to win by half a length.
