Great to finally get another winner on board in the shape of Highland Acclaim at Catterick on heavy ground.  Although we intended to ride him prominently we half missed the kick and had to sit mid div before picking up in the straight.

“Add 15yds. A surprise result here, and the winner was the only one to get involved from off the pace. HIGHLAND ACCLAIM as having his 115th start but his first on heavy (never won on soft or good to soft). He handled the conditions well, coming through from off the pace to get the better of the prominent runners. Only his stable’s second winner from 120 runners since the resumption, hopefully it’s a sign that the yard is returning to form.”
