Foreseeable Future bowed out in style when taking the Catterick 5f Amateur Riders race under Charli.  It had been decided that this would be his last race before being retired to Emelia to do ROR showing classes.  This was his 8th win for us and at 9yo it was the right time to call it a day.

Massive thanks to owners Antony and Trevor and also my bother, Richard, our farrier who has kept shoes on Foz’s feet – sometimes with great difficulty!

FORESEEABLE FUTURE featured off a mark 11lb lower than when winning an apprentice riders’ handicap over this trip on soft ground at Thirsk in July last year. He dominated this contest towards the near rail from a favourable high draw in the testing conditions, and managed to fend off the late challengers. The 9yo is reportedly to be retired after this ninth career success.
