WINNER! Flash City wins at Doncaster – 7th July 2016
Flash City has produced a string of placed efforts so it was great to see him finally get his head in front under Jimmy at Doncaster.
“A modest sprint handicap in which they raced up the middle and it produced a tight finish. The winning rider said of the ground: “It’s mainly good, but just a bit on the quick side. It will be good on the round course.” FLASH CITY came into this on a losing run of 17 and was without headgear for the first time since September 2014. Patiently ridden, having moved into contention it took him an age to wear down the runner-up, but he had just done so by the time it truly mattered. He deserved this success and can’t go up too much for it.”
