WINNER! -Exotic Guest, 26th winner this year – 5th July 2015
Exotic was disappointing at Newcastle’s Plate meeting, a track he normally saves his best for, but bounced back to form at Ayr under Jimmy to win by a short head.
“The field soon split into two in this modest sprint handicap with five coming up the stands’ rail, while the larger group came up the middle. The main action eventually unfolded up the centre. EXOTIC GUEST hadn’t been at his very best this year, but he was off a competitive mark and could be seen travelling well in the centre group from some way out. He found plenty when asked to battle and had his nose in front where it mattered, but his profile doesn’t suggest he is one to lump on for a follow-up.”

“Exotic Guest toughed it out well. He can get a bit upset at the gates, but he was good and settled this time.”
James Sullivan, 2015
