Copper enjoyed his return to Redcar’s straight mile even though the ground was soft when taking the first race under Connor Beasley.  We have now won this race four out of the last six years!  2018 – Abushamah, 2019 Verdigris and 2023 Makalu.

COPPER AND FIVE left his first two runs of the year well behind returned to a track where he has a reasonable record. He won off 7lb higher last May so will retain handicapping scope once reassessed.
