It was great to see Kibaar get a change of luck after three solid runs where things didn't go his way. Settled at the back by Jimmy he made good progress in the second part of the race to lead less than half a furlong from home.
"This might be just the next rung up from a typical low-grade sprint handicap, the winner well treated when it goes his way and the placed horses having something to recommend them. KIBAAR is a tricky sort but another somewhat awkward start allowed him plenty of cover this time and he did what the previous two winners on the card had in pouncing at a fairly advanced stage having kept himself out of the firing line. Whether or not he goes on from here is dependent on circumstances, but he still seems to have a fair bit of ability in hand from this mark."
