After a winter break Bobby Joe Leg bounced back to win nicely under Jack Garritty at Wolverhampton. Great to win again with Mum's homebred gelding by Pastoral Persuits!
"Competitive for the grade, with eight of the 11 runners rated 70 or above. A whole host of these raced keenly early on but the race settled down after a couple of furlongs.
BOBBY JOE LEG travelled kindly in midfield and the gaps opened up beautifully early in the straight, which he was fully able to take advantage of. Easily the least exposed of these after just three runs, he bounced back to the sort of form that saw him win at Newcastle on debut and it's just a case of whether he can kick on from this now. He looks to have a decent engine and gears at the business end, so he could be a useful tool in sprint handicaps."
