Lexington Place came from last to first to win the 5f handicap for the second year running on Scottish Sun Raceday. Lexy pulls himself up when he hits the front so is a tricky ride and Jimmy timed it to perfection.
"An open sprint handicap run at a fair pace. They finished in a bunch. LEXINGTON PLACE landed this contest 12 months earlier off a 3lb lower mark and he was perfectly produced to move ahead close to the line. He is at his best when able to pounce late and things did fall his way here but it was still a decent success under a fine ride."

"Lexington Place came into the race in good form but everything needs to go right and he needs to put his head in front right on the line. I didn´t think at any point that he would win but Jimmy said he was always confident."
