Perfect's form has been a bit in and out but the fitting of cheekpeices and a well judged front running ride from Dale Swift did the trick at Chester.
"Only Dale Swift emerges from the contest with a great deal of credit. BE PERFECT, who hadn´t worn cheekpieces for a long time, led at a slow tempo, quickened up at a time that suited and won comfortably. His previous two successes came over 2m and 2m2f, which pretty much tells you the jockey got everything right on his mount."
