Grange Park Open Day – 9th March 2019
A successful morning entertaining owners of Grange Park Racing and great to miss the earlier rain!
A walk to the gallop to see Cosmic Chatter and Katheefa exercise under Emily and Jimmy, then the unique sight of 18 horses in training thundering down the woodchip walkway and into the bottom field to spend the rest of their day in the fresh air, socialising and relaxing.
Back to the yard to watch Foxtrot Knight, Tadaany and Abushamah exercise loose before hot drinks, biscuits and cake in top yard.
Sadly no Dad to BBQ us his renowned sausage sandwiches having had a fall earlier in the week he’s had a few days in the care of the NHS. Pleased to report he’s coming home today!
Thanks to all the team who started early to make sure everything was done and spic and span before our guests arrived and massive thanks to Mum for coming along with her camera and recording the mornings events even with the stress of Dad being in hospital.
