Monday Morning on the Gallops - 8th April 2019

It was good to have Dad join us working the horses yesterday, after being laid up for a few weeks with broken ribs after a schooling fall at home. We gave him the easy rides of course - Mums home bred Bobby and Explain who are both perfect gents.
Gloryella was having a spin in the racing silks in preparation for her first run. It can be a scary sight for a youngster in the paddock for the first time when along comes Jimmy all bright and glary! Anything we can do to ease the stress we do.
Oriental Splendour was working in a nosenet which helps me hold him at home.
