Monday Morning on the Gallops – 8th April 2019

It was good to have Dad join us working the horses yesterday, after being laid up for a few weeks with broken ribs after a schooling fall at home. We gave him the easy rides of course – Mums home bred Bobby and Explain who are both perfect gents.Gloryella was having a spin in the racing silks in preparation for her first run. It can be a scary sight for a youngster in the paddock for the first time when along comes Jimmy all bright and glary! Anything we can do to ease the stress we do.Oriental Splendour was working in a nosenet which helps me hold him at home.
