Amazing Blue Sky
Amazing Blue Sky is a big scopy 2 year old colt. We purchased him after he won a claiming race at Wolverhampton in good style. He stays further than a mile and look like a good type for 3 year old only handicaps in 2009. (22nd December 2008)

Calmdownmate - a limited number of shares still available
Ruth and Mr Chapman have selected Calmdownmate as their first syndicated horse. Calmdownmate is a nice looking, four year old gelded son of Danehill Dancer. He was rated 95 as a two year old, ran in a Group race at York and won a Novice race at Ripon. Since joining us he has run 5 times, winning twice and a 2nd place. Redwater River is a 4 year old bay gelding purchased out of Dermot Weld's stables in Ireland. He has run 9 times in Ireland winning once, 2nd twice and 4th twice. He is currently rated in the 60's and won last time he raced in October. (22nd December 2008)

Moonafeth is bred by Shadwell Stud part of the Arab breeding operation. He is a 2 year, chestnut and has recently been gelded. He is unraced but is well bred. By Daylami out of a group 2 placed mare. A good stamp of a horse who we are looking forward to. (22nd December 2008)

Allughz - sold to race in Cyprus

Avontuur - Share sold ( update - has since won a further 2 races both on the turf)
Avontuur is a big french bred horse who has taken time to come to himself. He has WON 3 races over 6 furlongs at Wolverhampton but don't think he's a one track horse. Avon was 2nd of 17 in a handicap at Ayr as a big weak three year old. He acts on any going - Ayr was good to soft and he was placed in a maiden at Thirsk which was won by a Sir Michael Stoute trained horse on good to firm. We have been very patient with him and expect plenty of improvement over the coming months. Photos of him winning at Wolverhampton.

Paddywack - Retired to good home.
Paddywack is a winner of 21 races! He is a real favourite of the girls in the yard - a proper little character. He has won on all types of going from firm to soft but these days seems to prefer to get his toe in on an uphill track. Particularly likes Pontetract and Beveley and has often run well for a girl. He's getting on a bit but will still win a race or two this year! Photos show after his win at Redcar last September, enjoying a dip in the flooded lunge pit and trying to find grass under the snow!

Cadogen Square - Retired to stud
Cadogen Square is a super looking mare and is a winner of 3 races. She has won over 7 furlongs and a mile but is also effective over shorter having being placed at 6 furlongs. She has form on the all weather but looks happier on the turf on going from firm to soft. Photo shows Cadogen winning at Beveley as a three year old.

Sunley Soveriegn - shares still available - has since won over 5f
Sunley Sovereign is a lovely big horse who has taken time to fill his frame. He is a winner over 7 furlongs at Southwell. He has had breathing problems in the past and has now been fitted with a tube and we are expecting to see a completely different horse when he runs with the tube for the first time. Previously rated 70, he is now well handicapped and we are looking forward to lots of fun. Currently out of training until the turf season 2009.

Only A Splash
Only A Splash is from a family of really good sprinters. His grand Dam Soba won 13 races including the Stewards Cup at Goodwood, 3 group races and was Champion European Sprinter in the early 1980's. Only A Splash is half brother to Soaked, who didn't win until he was five years old but went on to win 19 races, placed 2nd 16 times and 3rd 18 times. Splash was 2nd as a 2 year old at Catterick and was lightly raced last year. He is now much stronger and looks potentially well handicapped. Photos show half brother Soaked winning a £12,000 0-90 handicap at Ripon in June 20002 and Only A Splash enjoying a break from training last Auntumn.

Autumn Charm - SOLD
3 year old chesnut filly. By Reel Buddy (USA) out of Eurolink Cafe. Currently rated 60. Autumn Charm has run 8 times only being out of the first four twice. She has won 2 races at Southwell over 7 furlongs but looks like she'll stay further. "What I liked about her when she won her seller was the way she battled, and she's done the same again today," said David Chapman after her win on 7th January.
